This festive season, stay as cool as a coconut as the parties heat up. Savour the sweetness of summer, even as we pass into the winter months. Our Mango Colada is sweet, sassy, and a solid drink for any occasion. This recipe makes 4 large drinks, but we know you will want to double and triple it. A real crowd pleaser, this tried and tested Mango Colada is sure to get the party started! It works great as a mocktail, but if you choose, you can add a little white rum for a boozy twist. Stay festive with true desi flavours of mango and coconut, but with a modern touch.

Ingredients to make Mango colada recipe:

2 cups coconut milk
2 tbsp brown sugar or honey
Optional: 30ml white rum per drink

Steps to make Mango colada recipe:

1.
Place ice in 4 large glasses with 30 ml of alcohol (optional).

Pour half a bottle of Alphonso mango in each glass.
3.
Mix in a little coconut water, approximately ¼ of a bottle or 50ml per glass.
4.
Add half a cup of coconut milk to every drink.
5.
Top the coconut milk with brown sugar or honey to taste.
6.
Garnish with your favourite fruit and serve chilled.
